Hello and welcome to the first episode of Messiah’s Upper Room Podcast! Each week we will bring you into Messiah Lutheran Church’s Upper Room Bible Class led by Pastor Jim Otte. This is an introduction episode where we sit down and have a short interview with Pastor Otte to discuss what future episodes will come, what he hopes to learn from podcasting, and how you can join the discussion, follow along, and interact with the Bible class each week.

Check back on this website in the coming weeks to download the class notes that Pastor Otte references throughout each episode. Subscribe at the links below to stay up-to-date on new episode releases so you can be ready to join the discussion!

I enjoyed this SO much. I am not able to attend the class because of family issues, but I am looking forward to hearing them in the weeks to come. I hope that they will continue to be available through Facebook.

    1. Thank you for the kind words, Mary! I’m glad we’re able to help bring the class to you. I’ll keep working with the staff at Messiah to post new episodes on the Facebook page as they’re available. The best way to make sure you don’t miss an episode is to subscribe to the podcast through iTunes or one of the other options linked on this site. That way you’ll automatically receive new episodes as they’re released (plus it’s free!). Let me know if you have any questions about subscribing! 🙂

I look forward to the next broadcast. Pastor Otte I am glad you “stepped out of your comfort zone” into the technological world. I am also happy my son is helping you with this endeavor. Loved hearing both of your voices on the podcast.
